BEAU SELMAN
MS Program, Quantum Engineering
Through this traineeship I plan to learn as much as possible from my fellow mentors and colleagues at the School of Mines. You can get things done quickly alone, but you can get much farther with a team. I am really excited about our student-run Society of Quantum Engineers. Through this student club I will focus on increasing our opportunities for collaboration with our Colorado-based quantum partners and institutions.
I am president of the SQE club and my hobbies include water polo, snowboarding, running, and playing boardgames. I also am active on campus through my role as a Resident Advisor where I build connections and plan events for students who live on campus.
